It sounds like Pittsburgh has been looking forward to playing Penn State for a while.

The Panthers and Nittany Lions are getting set to square off for a third straight season. The in-state rivalry is an interesting one to keep an eye on, and it will be the Panthers looking to get a bit of revenge this season.

The Nittany Lions took down Pittsburgh 33-14 in 2017, but they will head on the road to take on Pittsburgh Saturday. Penn State should still be favored behind QB Trace McSorley. However, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi made it clear this game is extremely important to his team.

Penn State reporter Mark Wogenrich shared Narduzzi’s comments from his Monday press conference, and Narduzzi built up the fact that this is a big game for the Panthers:

Saturday’s kick off is set for 8 pm EST on ABC.
