PJ Fleck is as colorful a head coach as there is in college football, and the leader of Minnesota’s program didn’t take long to show that at B1G Media Days on Wednesday.

This time, though, it wasn’t breaking down a football game or even the Golden Gophers’ 2025 roster that got the 44-year-old going. It wasn’t a particular Big Ten opponent either.

For Fleck, it was all about location, location, location, and the specific location of the B1G Media Days in 2025. Apparently, Fleck is like millions of Americans or even people worldwide in that he absolutely adores Las Vegas.

“The last thank you goes to the Big Ten, for having this in Las Vegas, Nevada. Period. Viva Las Vegas, baby! I love this city,” PJ Fleck said during his entertaining session with reporters.

Here is the brief clip that will surely be talked about all over B1G Media Days on Wednesday and maybe for some time after the event concludes on Thursday:

Fleck has a lot of love for Minnesota, too, where he’s been the head coach since 2017. He has a 56-39 record during his time there, which is no short feat, considering the program’s inconsistencies through the years.

Just maybe, the 2025 season will be a special one for Fleck, because it certainly got started for him on Wednesday in a place he simply adores.
