The investigation into an alleged assault involving Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended due to a lack of witnesses, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Elliott was accused of being involved in a bar scuffle on Sunday night, which left one victim hospitalized. No arrests were made and the police did not name any suspects.
On Wednesday, the Dallas Police Department released a statement saying it “made several attempts to contact the victim through various ways but at this time have not been able to make contact.”
No witnesses have come forward about the altercation, either.
Elliott is currently under NFL investigation for an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred in 2016.
