Preseason USA Today Coaches Poll: 5 B1G teams land in first Top 25 of 2021

The first official rankings of the 2021 season have been released.
On Tuesday, USA Today released the preseason Coaches Poll as the 2021 college football season kicks off later this month. It’s another step closer to that first game of the year.
Five B1G teams were included in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll, with Ohio State leading the way for the conference. The Buckeyes are searching for their fifth-straight B1G title this year. Last year, they finished with a 7-1 record, earning a trip to the National Championship Game.
Indiana is coming off a 6-2 campaign last fall and Tom Allen is looking for a third-straight winning season in Bloomington. Iowa also had a strong 2020 season, winning its final six games after an 0-2 start.
Wisconsin and Penn State struggled last year but both finished strong. The Badgers were 4-3, winning their final two games while the Nittany Lions were under .500 with a 4-5 record, but closed out with four-consecutive victories.
