The college football season is slowly creeping up on us. That means, parcel by parcel, we’ll continue to receive new information about the 2019 season.
On Wednesday, ABC revealed which primetime games will be aired on Saturday nights through the first three weeks of the season. While there are no B1G games that will hit the primetime airways for ABC during the first three weeks of the year, there are some interesting matchups.
Here are the first three Saturday night games that will air on ABC:
- Aug. 31 — Auburn vs. Oregon
- Sept. 7 — LSU vs. Texas
- Sept. 14 — Clemson vs. Syracuse

The Auburn-Oregon matchup will be a neutral site game, played in Arlington, Texas. LSU and Texas both played in a New Year’s Six bowl game last season and Clemson-Syracuse sets up an early season road ACC matchup for the defending national champions.
Kickoff is still a few months away, but this release has us fired up for that first weekend of the season.
