Ohio State’s offensive tackles have been excellent so far in 2021.
Dawand Jones and Nicholas Petit-Frere are both off to good starts this season. According to Pro Football Focus, they have been the best offensive tackles in the Big Ten so far in 2021.
Jones has been graded at an 88.9 and Petit-Frere is at 85.9:

Through four games, Ohio State leads the Big Ten in scoring offense and in yards per play. The Buckeyes are currently averaging 8.6 yards per play and 559.3 yards per game this season. Maryland is the only other Big Ten team currently averaging more than 500 yards per contest.
Ohio State’s running game has been especially effective. The Buckeyes are No. 2 in rushing yards with 220.3 per game so far in 2021. As an offensive line, Ohio State is allowing just 1.5 sacks per contest — good enough for fourth in the Big Ten.
Ohio State faces Rutgers on the road this weekend. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
