Pro Football Focus: Ohio State is nation’s No. 1 in key statistic

Ohio State rolled through Nebraska 52-17 in its season-opener thanks in-part to a three touchdown day from quarterback Justin Fields.
But that performance wouldn’t have been possible without a dominant showing from Ohio State’s offensive line.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Buckeyes graded out as the nation’s No. 1 offensive line last weekend:

That’s a big statement to make for just one week of action.
Ohio State’s O-Line kept a clean pocket for Justin Fields, but their biggest contributions came in the running game. The Buckeyes rushed for 215 yards and four touchdowns on a whopping 48 carries, allowing them to control the clock in the second half.
Fields was the team’s leading rusher, totaling 54 yards on 15 carries. Running backs Trey Sermon and Master Teague also played well, adding 48 and 41 yards, respectively.
Next week will likely be a bigger test for the Buckeyes as they travel to Happy Valley to face Penn State.
