Pro Football Focus ranks 3 Ohio State freshmen in Top 5

Pro Football Focus released its top 10 freshman list before Week 8 of the college football season and as expected, it has a healthy amount of Buckeye players on it.

In fact, there are 3 Buckeye freshmen in the top 5 and it starts with running back TreVeyon Henderson as he comes in at No. 3. He’s only played in 6 games but has over 612 yards rushing and 9 touchdowns on 60 carries in those games.

He’s transformed the Ohio State offense ever since he step foot on the field. His best game thus far was when he had 24 carries for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns against Tulsa on Sept. 18.

At No. 4 comes defensive tackle Tyleik Williams and he’s likely going to get more playing time moving forward if he keeps up this production. He’s only played 94 snaps this season but has recorded 12 total tackles (7 solo) with 4 sacks and a forced fumble.

Denzel Burke finishes this off at No. 5 and he’s racked up 16 total tackles (9 solo) with 1 interception thus far. He’s also only allowed 14 catches on 33 targets.
