Ohio State started off the day by plucking a four-star recruit out of SEC territory.

The Buckeyes continued the day by plucking a four-star recruit of Big 12 country.

At halftime of Ohio State’s spring game, the Buckeyes got a commitment from four-star Oklahoma safety Josh Proctor:

Proctor’s commitment is a big early addition for the Buckeyes. The 6-2, 190-pound DB, who was in Columbus for the spring game on Saturday, is rated the No. 7 safety and the No. 87 prospect overall in the 2018 class.

On top of that, all 10 predictions in the 247sports crystal ball had Proctor ending up at Oklahoma. Surely Oklahoma will continue to recruit the talented defensive back. Proctor has offers from the likes of Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas and others.

Ohio State now has seven 2018 commitments, all of whom rank in the 247sports top 100.
