Purdue may not have won the game against Penn State, but the Boilermakers had a great showing from CB Chris Jefferson. He showed what leaving it all on the field means.
Jefferson intercepted Penn State QB Sean Clifford, and took it all the back for a touchdown in the 2nd half. He was seen throwing up shortly after the 72-yard interception return.
The video of him spilling his guts quickly started to circulate around social media, with many people using it to make jokes and memes. Jefferson took it with a grain of salt, and laughed with the rest of them per ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.
“As soon as I threw up, I started laughing because I already knew I was going to be a meme,” said Jefferson. “I was tired. All jokes aside, though, me being tired, we were all gassed. I feel like that’s why we gave up that last touchdown.”

Whether that was the case or not, Purdue still could not hold off Penn State in the end. The Boilermakers ended up losing 35-31, but it wasn’t without some hilarious moments along the way.
