Purdue adds ACC foes to future schedule

Purdue has never had a game decided with Boston College or Louisville. The Boilermakers played Louisville in 1987, but that game resulted in a 22-22 tie.

Thirty years later, the two teams will settle it once and for all.

Purdue announced on Tuesday that it set up a non-conference game with Louisville at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 2, 2017.

The school also set up a series with Boston College. Purdue will host the Golden Eagles on Sept. 22, 2018 and will travel to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts on Sept. 26, 2020. It’ll mark the first time the schools have ever played each other.

The Boilermakers’ first and only game at Lucas Oil Stadium was in 2014 when they fell 30-14 to Notre Dame. The last ACC foe Purdue faced Virginia Tech, which handed the Boilers a 51-24 loss this past season.

They’ll look to build on a 14-14-2 all-time mark against the ACC.
