Purdue has made an addition to its future schedules.

On Tuesday, Purdue announced that it added a home-and-home series with UConn out of the AAC. The two teams will meet on the gridiron in 2021 and 2025, according to the release.

UConn will host the 2021 meeting on Sept. 11, 2021 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium. The Boilermakers will welcome the Huskies to Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 13, 2025.

Purdue finished the 2018 season with a 6-6 win and is awaiting to hear its postseason destination. UConn ended the year with a 1-11 record and didn’t win a single AAC game.

The addition of UConn rounds out Purdue’s non-conference schedule for the 2021 schedule. The Boilermakers open the season against Oregon State and will also play Notre Dame.

In 2025, Purdue will play UConn and Notre Dame but still needs to add one more non-conference game to its schedule.

Purdue and UConn have no previous matchups.
