Purdue basketball is coming off of one of its best regular season performances but a March Madness disaster. Now, the Boilermakers enter the 2023-24 season in search of redemption.
That was the theme of the hype video the program unveiled Sunday night ahead of the start of the season. It was narrated by Cuonzo Martin and speaks to the goals of the Boilermakers after a disastrous finish last season.
“This one is personal. This season is personal,” said Martin. “Because it’s a love story, a story of redemption and second chances.”
Our story is different.
A story of redemption.
A story of resiliency.
A story of pride.A fresh start is upon us.

The good news for Purdue is the team returns All-American big man Zach Edey and most of the contributors from last season’s 29-win squad. That group swept the regular-season league title and B1G Tournament title despite falling in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Now, it’s up for that group to show it is for real by getting back to March Madness and producing a deep run.
