Being underdogs obviously didn’t matter to Purdue, as they topped Maryland 31-29 on Saturday.
Purdue Payne Durham carried a lot of weight for the Boilermakers in the matchup, literally carrying 4 Maryland defenders down the field at one point. The play earned Durham the B1G Network’s Week 6 Play of the Week.
This is not the first time we've seen @pdurham22 carry multiple would-be tacklers. 💪

Besides Durham quite literally pulling his weight for the Boilermakers, the biggest play of the game came as Purdue blocked a Terrapin extra point. Had Maryland converted on the extra point, it would have potentially led to a tie later in the game and likely overtime for the Terps. The Boilermaker defense limited Maryland to 72 yards rushing and less than 3 yards per carry at 2.9 on the game.
The Senior tight end from Suwanee, GA has 28 receptions for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, averaging 10.0 yards per play. Durham and Purdue will face Nebraska on Saturday.
