Purdue is looking for its next head coach with Jeff Brohm returning to his alma mater at Louisville this week. In the meantime, the Boilermakers are experience some turnover via the 2023 recruiting class.
One player to back off his commitment to Purdue is Micah Carter. A key defensive lineman prospect out of Louisville, Carter announced Saturday that he is flipping his commitment from the Boilermakers to Louisville.
That will allow Carter to stay home for college and also play for Brohm, the head coach he originally committed to at Purdue.
The Purdue Boilermakers have been nothing short of amazing and I’m
thankful for the love I’ve been shown. With that being said, I have decided to decommit from the University of Purdue and join @JeffBrohm at the University
of Louisville.#stayinghome L1C4 @AbleEdits pic.twitter.com/HRT2zm0OlI— Micah Carter #99 (@BigMicgetbusy) December 10, 2022
