Purdue defensive back Braxton Myers is on the move again after a brief stay in West Lafayette.

Myers is back in the transfer portal after 1 season with the Boilermakers, according to multiple reports.

Myers was highly recruited out of Coppell (Texas) High School. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 17 safety, No. 38 recruit in the state of Texas and No. 224 prospect overall in the Class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.

As a recruit, Myers initially committed to USC on Sept. 7, 2022. He flipped his commitment to Ole Miss on Spet. 29, 2022, and went on to sign to play for Lane Kiffin’s SEC program.

After spending the spring with Ole Miss, Myers opted to hit the transfer portal before his first fall with the Rebels. He landed at Purdue.

Myers did not see the field in his season at Purdue. We’ll see what’s next for Myers, who has 4 seasons of eligibility remaining after redshirting.
