Purdue has its quarterback in the class of 2025.

The Boilermakers picked up a commitment from 3-star quarterback Sawyer Anderson on Tuesday afternoon. Anderson also has offers from programs such as Texas A&M, Miami and Arizona State, amongst others.

Here’s his announcement:

Anderson is a huge recruiting win for Ryan Walters and his staff. He’s the No. 475 overall player and the No. 33 quarterback in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 62 player from the state of Texas.

Anderson attends Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. He’s listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds.

He initially picked up an offer from Purdue back in May. He threw for 3,107 yards and 37 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2022.

Purdue now has 2 commits in the class of 2025. Anderson joins 3-star EDGE Keylen Abrams, who also hails from Texas. The group sits at No. 33 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
