Former Georgia DB Nyland Green has found a home in the Big Ten.

Green took to social media on Christmas Day to announce his transfer commitment to Purdue.

Green, who announced his entry into the transfer portal on Dec. 6, leaves Athens after 3 seasons with the Bulldogs. He has 2 remaining seasons of eligibility after taking a redshirt in 2021. 247Sports rated Green a 4-star transfer and the No. 1 cornerback in the portal.

Green played in 26 games over 3 seasons, contributing as a reserve. This past season, Green recorded 7 total tackles in 13 games, including a half TFL, the first of his career. He logged 12 total tackles and 2 pass breakups in his UGA career.

Out of Newton High School in Covington, Georgia, Green was one of the most sought-after prospects in the Class of 2021. Rated 4-stars, the No. 4 cornerback and No. 72 recruit overall on the 247Sports Composite, Green picked up 32 scholarship offers in his initial recruitment.
