Two B1G teams will be taking part in a quadruple header at the Barclays Center this basketball season.

On Friday, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported that Purdue and Maryland will be two of eight teams to participate in a quadruple header at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York in mid-December.

Per Rothstein, Purdue is scheduled to play N.C. State and Maryland will take on Florida in the event. It is currently scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 12. Tip-off times and broadcast information was not released.

The other two games reportedly being played on that date feature Miami-Fordham and Iona-Yale.

Both Purdue and Maryland were NCAA Tournament teams a season ago. The Boilermakers ended the year with an 18-10 record, which included a 13-6 mark in B1G competition. The Terrapins were 17-14 with a 9-11 mark in league games.

Purdue and Maryland are expected to be Top 5 teams in college basketball next season.
