It hasn’t happened often over the last five years, but Purdue won’t be the underdog in a B1G contest.

The Boilermakers opened as a three-point favorite for this week’s game against Minnesota in Ross-Ade Stadium. Purdue is 2-2 (0-1) while the Gophers come in at 3-1 (0-1).

Purdue is coming out of a bye week while Minnesota dropped last week’s B1G opener to Maryland. Both teams are searching for their first conference victory of the season.

The Gophers have won the last four meetings against the Boilers.

Saturday’s game is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN2.
