One of the reasons the Purdue Boilers have had a nice season and are bowl-bound is because of the play of quarterback Aidan O’Connell.
O’Connell has been been on fire the second half of the season, leading the Boilermakers to a 4-1 record and is 169-of-221 (76.4%) for 1,856 yards (371.2 pg), 16 TDs, O INT.
#Purdue's Aidan O'Connell has been as hot as any QB in the nation the last five games (4-1 record). His numbers:

If Purdue had a better record and was contending for the Big Ten Championship, O’Connell might have been a contender Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. Maybe even a candidate to win the Heisman Trophy.
O’Connell, who is a senior, maybe drafted in next year’s NFL Draft. This season, he has thrown for 2900 yards, 19 touchdowns with just 8 interceptions. He has not yet made a decision on his future with the program, though.
With numbers like that, it would be hard to pass up on what could be a diamond in the rough.
