Purdue got a bounce-back week in Week 2 after opening up the season with a three-point loss to Nevada.
In the second weekend of the season, the Boilermakers hosted Vanderbilt and played a complete football game the entire way through, which they did not do in the opening week. Purdue won 42-24, but didn’t come away from the game unscathed.

Quarterback Elijah Sindelar, who threw for 509 yards in the win over the Commodores, suffered a concussion according to coach Jeff Brohm. Brohm gave an update on Monday:
Elijah Sindelar update: We are hopeful he can play. Let is play out. Slight concussion, per Brohm.

Brohm seems hopeful. What is odd is that he calls Sindelar’s concussion a slight one. Seems like weird wording for something that is increasingly growing awareness nationally.
Purdue is scheduled to host TCU at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 21. The game will be televised on BTN.
