Purdue quarterback Elijah Sindelar was in his fifth year this season as a Boilermaker. He played in three games, totaling 978 yards passing, nine touchdowns and three interceptions.

He only appeared in those three games, though, because of injuries. With that, he has a sixth year of eligibility he can use. However, on Monday, news broke that he wouldn’t be using that at Purdue:
Elijah Sindelar has just informed me that he won't be returning for the 2020 season. #Purdue

Sindelar could be transferring elsewhere. Or, he could be looking at the 2020 NFL Draft. That’s an option as well. For now, we don’t know what is next for the 6-foot-4 signal caller.
Sindelar was a 3-star prospect in Purdue’s 2015 class according to 247Sports. For 2020, the Boilermakers appear to have Jack Plummer, Aidan O’Connell and Michael Alaimo, a 4-star prospect in the 2020 class, making up the bulk of the QB room.
Purdue’s entire 2020 class can be found here.
