Purdue receives commitment from 6-foot-5 in-state QB for 2022

Brady Allen is a 6-foot-5 quarterback in the Class of 2022. He has plenty of time to grow (both as a player and physically).
On Wednesday, though, he made a verbal commitment to Purdue:

Allen is an in-state commitment for the Boilermakers, as he comes from Gibson Southern High School and is originally from Fort Branch, Ind. Allen does not yet have a 247Sports Composite ranking next to his name, but according to 247Sports alone, he is a three-star prospect.
He is also the first verbal commitment for the Boilermakers in the Class of 2022. Allen currently holds scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and others.
