For the Purdue Boilermakers what started well in 2020 has taken a turn for the worse, as a 2-0 opening has devolved into an 0-3 middle phase.

But the 2-3 Boilermakers have two games left to get back above five-hundred, and the final home contest comes Saturday against the 1-4 Nebraska Cornhuskers.

In the lead up to the contest, the football staff put together a sizzle reel to fire up the squad and its fans before the last ball of the season is played at venerable old Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette.

It’s all there—the heavy under-hum of portentous music—the Boilermaker express, the big hits, the sweet touchdowns, and all the passion and emotion of a college football season wrapped up into forty-nine hard-hitting seconds.

“Games like this it really comes down to this, we prepare, they prepare, who wants it the most?” says head coach Jeff Brohm at the outset of the video. “You lay it on the line, you play to win, and you play harder than the other team. And it’s gotta be everyone in it.”

Saturday’s game kicks off at noon EST on the Big Ten Network with limited in-person attendance.
