Penn State wasted no time in getting started against Illinois as it’s their last game of the regular season.

It took just 12 seconds for the Nittany Lions to take the lead over the Fighting Illini, thanks to his touchdown catch from Jahan Dotson:

It’s also convenient that this ended up being the first play of the game.

The throw was a bit out in front of Dotson but he was able to haul it in and then dash through the entire Illinois secondary for the touchdown.

Illinois ended up answering right back thank to a touchdown pass from quarterback Isaiah Williams. He hit Bruan Hightower in the endzone for a five-yard touchdown.

After that though, Penn State took the lead right back thanks to a kickoff return for a touchdown by Lamont Wade.

That put the Nittany Lions up 14-7 in the second quarter and the game is being televised by FS1.
