College football fans are in for a pretty sweet treat on Halloween night, courtesy of ESPN and the College Football Playoff selection committee.
The first set of College Football Playoff rankings are set to come out on Tuesday, Oct. 31 (Halloween), and will be aired on ESPN like it has each of the past three years. The rankings will then be released every Tuesday through Nov. 28. The final rankings will be released on Sunday, Dec. 3.

In addition to the rankings schedule, the names of the selection committee recusals have also been released.
According to a press release from the College Football Playoff, “a recused member shall not participate in any votes involving the team from which the individual is recused.”
“A recused member is permitted to answer only factual questions about the institution from which the member is recused, but shall not be present during any deliberations regarding that team’s selection or seeding.”
