Rapid Reaction: Indiana demolishes Kennesaw State

Indiana is 2-0 on the season after taking care of business against Kennesaw State, demolishing the Owls 56-9. The Hoosiers get one more gimme-game against Indiana State before facing off against Illinois in Week 4.
The Hoosiers got it done on the ground and through the air against the Owls. Lee Beebe led the way in the rushing game, totaling 90 yards on 11 carries for 1 touchdown. Wide receiver Omar Cooper wasn’t far behind, totaling 75 yards of his own on an end-around.
Fernando Mendoza was great in the passing game as well. He completed 18 of his 25 attempts for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns at an average of 9.8 yards per throw. Alberto Mendoza got in on the fun as well late in the game, completing all 3 of his passing attempts for 35 yards and a touchdown.
As mentioned earlier, the Hoosiers will be back in action next week against in-state foe Indiana State. The game is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.
