It’s currently unclear if Bateman will play this weekend or not, but being activated off of injured reserve is a positive sign. He’s expected to have a role within the Ravens’ offense as a rookie once he’s fully healthy.
Baltimore selected Bateman with the 27th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was coming off an excellent college career at Minnesota, where he caught 147 passes for 2,395 yards and 19 touchdowns across 3 seasons.
If Bateman does make his NFL debut this weekend, it will be on the road against the Broncos on Sunday.
