Rashod Bateman won’t be on the field for the Baltimore Ravens anytime soon. The former Minnesota standout will be out a few weeks with a foot injury. Bateman suffered the setback in last Thursday night’s victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
#Ravens coach John Harbaugh said WR Rashod Bateman will be out a few weeks with a foot injury. It was more serious than they originally believed.

Bateman was a first-round selection by the Ravens in the 2021 NFL Draft. At Minnesota, he caught 147 passes for 2,395 yards and 19 touchdowns. His best season came in 2019 when he amassed 60 catches for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns. Bateman was a First-Team All-B1G selection after that season.
In two years with Baltimore, he has 61 receptions for 800 yards and 3 touchdowns. Bateman has 15 catches for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns this season.
This is a big loss for quarterback Lamar Jackson and company. Baltimore will lean on receivers Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson in Bateman’s absence.
The Ravens could also activate DeSean Jackson from the practice squad. The electric downfield receiver was signed by the team 2 weeks ago.
Hopefully Bateman’s injury won’t linger for too long. Baltimore is currently 5-3 this season.
