JK Dobbins wants to get back out on the field, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh remains unsure when that will be.
Harbaugh was asked about the former Ohio State running back on Thursday. The next step will be an evaluation on Monday.
“He wants to get back out there. We’ll look at it again Monday and see where we’re at Monday. Maybe he starts doing something like individual, maybe not. It will be up to the docs,” Harbaugh told reporters.
Dobbins is working to come back from a torn ACL. Last month, Dobbins blasted a report from NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport saying the Ravens running back’s status was uncertain for Week 1 of the 2022 season.
“I’m damn sure going to be ready for Week 1,” Dobbins wrote, quote-tweeting Rapoport.
As a rookie, Dobbins rushed for 805 yards and 9 touchdowns while averaging 6 yards per carry in 2020 before missing the 2021 season due to a torn ACL.
Could Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) return to practice next week?
