Four B1G punters have earned some preseason recognition.
Wednesday, the Ray Guy Award released its annual watch list, naming some of the best punters around college football. In total, 26 punters earned a spot on the watch list, with four of those names coming from the B1G.
The award was started in 2000 and is presented annually to the best punter in college football. Last year’s winner was Braden Mann out of Texas A&M. The B1G has claimed the award three times: Kevin Stemke (Wisconsin, 2000), Travis Dorsch (Purdue, 2001), and B.J. Sander (Ohio State, 2003).
Below are the four B1G punters to make the cut:
- Adam Korsak, Rutgers
- Blake Gillikin, Penn State
- Drue Chrisman, Ohio State
- Will Hart, Michigan
