Rece Davis outlines all the reasons why Michigan is the best in the B1G: ‘What’s not to like?’

Rece Davis put it simply: The best team in the B1G is in Ann Arbor, and he laid out all the reasons why, starting with 15 returning starters including QB JJ McCarthy.
Davis said a scout told him that by the end of the season, McCarthy will be considered in the upper echelon of quarterbacks in the NFL Draft.
“They’ve got a great tandem of running backs,” Davis said. “They’ve got an outstanding tight end, 2 of them actually when you consider that AJ Barner has transferred there from Indiana. And they replenished on the offensive line the way they have the last few years with experienced players from the portal and they added a pass rusher, what’s not to like?”
ESPN colleague Pete Thamel agreed, and said returners and results coming back to confirm that point, especially because he believes Michigan has the best running back tandem in the country.
The other point Thamel made is the Harbaugh suspension will not have a major impact because Harbaugh can coach in practice.
