Penn State-Iowa is the prime-time night game that most in Big Ten country have their eyes glued on Saturday night (no offense, Minnesota-Nebraska).

The night time game at Kinnick Stadium is always a tricky one for opponents and in the second quarter, Iowa leads 3-0. It’s been tough for both offenses.

However, it’s been tough for referees, too. Well, one referee in particular. No, it wasn’t a bad call he made.

It was the fall he took when he was in the wrong place at the wrong time:

There was nothing the ref could have done here other than run a random direction once the ball was snapped. Good luck with that.

Penn State-Iowa can be seen on ABC.
