Reggie Corbin may have a sore neck come Sunday morning.
During Saturday night’s game between Nebraska and Illinois, Corbin took a fourth quarter handoff up the heart of the defense, attempting to hit an open gap. He nearly broke off a big run, but was stopped by the big right arm of Nebraska defensive lineman Darrion Daniels.
Daniels, however, got all facemask and Corbin was nearly looking out of his earhole after being turned around. The play warranted a 15-yard penalty, giving the Illini a first down. Below is the video:

Corbin may need a neck massage after that one.
Early in the fourth quarter, Corbin had 128 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. He eclipsed 2,000 yards for his career with his Saturday night performance.
