It has been a crazy Saturday out of Starkville, Mississippi.
Tua Tagovailoa, the star quarterback for Alabama, suffered a hip injury in the game against Mississippi State. It was so bad, there were reports of Tagovailoa screaming in pain while down on the field. He was quickly carted off the field to be examined.

Later on, Tagovailoa was taken by ambulance away from the stadium. However, Cecil Hurt with the Tuscaloosa News shared a more recent report. According to Hurt, Tagovailoa has been airlifted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. They will further evaluate Tagovailoa’s injury there.

Tagovailoa’s status for the game was already in question before kickoff. He previously injured his ankle and played hurt for much of last week’s loss to LSU.
Hopefully, Tagovailoa can make a full recovery from what appears to be a very serious injury.
