The Arizona Cardinals made a waiver claim on Wednesday. The team picked up a former Ohio State player, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Wyatt Davis is now an Arizona Cardinal. Davis played in 28 career games while in Columbus. He played for the Buckeyes from 2017-2020.
This move was most likely made because of how many injuries the Cardinals are dealing with on the offensive line. Offensive linemen Kelvin Beachum, Cody Ford, and D.J. Humphries were all on the team’s injury report for Week 10.

Before joining Arizona, Davis had also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings (2021), and New Orleans Saints (2022). The Vikings originally drafted Davis in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
There is no indication about what role Davis will have on the Cardinals just yet. Arizona faces its division rival the Los Angeles Rams Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. The game is set to be broadcasted on FOX.
