Report: At least one NFL team has interest in Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck

Rumor season is in full swing. With only the college football bowl games remaining, and one week left in the NFL regular season, speculation about coaching changes is running rampant.
There seem to always be a few B1G names associated with potentially moving on to the NFL. Typically, those names include Pat Fitzgerald, Jim Harbaugh and Ryan Day. This year, though, there’s reportedly another name to add to the list.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com, at least one NFL team has interest in bringing in Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck for an interview. Per Pelissero, Fleck is one of the very few coaches at the college level who has played and coached in the professional ranks.
A handful of college coaches are drawing interest for NFL head coaching jobs, and here’s an interesting one: Minnesota’s P.J. Fleck.
I’m told at least one team wants to interview Fleck, 40, who’s one of the only current FBS head coaches to both play and coach in the NFL.

In 2012, Fleck was the wide receivers coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Greg Schiano was the head coach. He was then hired to take the head coaching job with Western Michigan the following year, where he spent the 2013-16 seasons. Fleck took the job at Minnesota ahead of the 2017 season.
Fleck just completed his fourth season with the Golden Gophers. In those four years, Minnesota has a 26-19 record, which includes an 11-2 year in 2019. The team finished 3-4 this past season.
Pelissero did not mention which organization was interested in bringing Fleck in for the interview.
