Auburn will be without several key players when the Tigers take on Northwestern in the Citrus Bowl on Friday.

According to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, at least four starters aren’t available vs. the Wildcats: Running back Tank Bigsby, receiver Anthony Schwartz, cornerback Roger McCreary and nickel back Christian Tutt.

Losing two members of the secondary could prove to be an issue, although Northwestern doesn’t typically hurt teams through the air.

However, losing Bigsby and Schwartz for this game could significantly impact Auburn’s ability to move the ball on the Wildcats’ vaunted defense.

Bigsby totaled 834 rushing yards this year in just 10 games, averaging six yards per carry in the process. Schwartz caught a career-high 54 passes this season for 636 yards and three touchdowns.

Northwestern had one of the best defenses in the country this season, so the Tigers could have a tough time moving the ball. The Wildcats ranked No. 11 nationally in passing defense and No. 5 nationally in scoring defense.

Kick off is at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
