It looks like Boston College is joining the list of schools making a change.

The Eagles concluded the regular season with a win over Pittsburgh on Saturday, pushing Boston College to Bowl Eligibility at 6-6. It marked the sixth time in seven seasons under head coach Steve Addazio that the Eagles are bowl eligible.

Unfortunately, that was not enough for Addazio to hang on. According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, BC is firing Addazio after seven seasons leading the team.

Addazio missed a bowl just one year with the Eagles and won seven games five times. Unfortunately, he never won more than seven games and finishes with a 44-44 record at Boston College. Addazio finished 1-3 in bowl games with the Eagles with the 2018 First Responder Bowl going down as a no-contest after a lengthy weather delay.

Current Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is one coach that came from Addazio’s staff. Day served as the OC and WRs coach on Addazio’s 2012 staff at Temple before serving as the OC and QBs coach at BC from 2013-14.

Where will Boston College turn from here?
