College football fans who want to see more bowl games at the end of the season, you’ll be getting your wish in the near future.

Brett McMurphy of Stadium is reporting that, beginning in 2020, Fenway Park will be the host of the new Boston Bowl, featuring teams from the ACC and AAC. It will be one of three bowl games added that year, joining previously announced locations Myrtle Beach and Los Angeles.

With the addition of the Boston Bowl, a record 43 bowl games will be played in the 2020 season, counting the College Football Playoff semifinal games and national championship. That means 84 teams — or 65 percent — of the 130 FBS programs will play in the postseason beginning in 2020.

Fenway Park will be the third Major League Baseball park to host a bowl game. Yankee Stadium is the site of the Pinstripe Bowl and Arizona’s Chase Field is home to the Cheez-It Bowl.

The ACC will send teams to two of those three bowl games — the Pinstripe Bowl and the Boston Bowl.
