Oregon may already be looking for head coaching replacements after Mario Cristobal left for Miami recently.

The Ducks have reportedly contacted BYU about an interview with BYU’s Kalani Sitake about being their next coach per 247Sports Jared Mack. Sitake has been the head coach of Brigham Young since 2015 when Bronco Mendenhall left to be the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers.

Sitake has done well at BYU in his only head coaching gig. The Cougars are 48-28 under Sitake during his tenure in Provo.

This season, Sitake has lead them to a 10-2 record and 2nd-place in the FBS Independents. We’ll see what comes of this, but for now BYU will focus on the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl.

No. 13 BYU (10-2) and UAB (8-4) meet in Shreveport, Louisiana on Dec. 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
