Report: Ex-Washington State QB, ESPN broadcaster Ryan Leaf arrested

Former NFL and Washington State quarterback and current ESPN college football analyst Ryan Leaf was arrested on Friday, according to a report from TMZ. He was arrested on an alleged misdemeanor domestic battery charge.
Bail was set at $5,000.
Since his career in the NFL ended, Leaf has been in trouble with law enforcement on multiple occasions. He was most recently sentenced to five years in prison in September 2014 but did not serve further time, and was released in December that same year.
In 2012, Leaf was arrested on theft, burglary and drug charges in Great Fall, Montana, his hometown. Four days after that arrest, Leaf was picked up again on burglary, theft, and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Leaf was a phenomenal quarterback at Washington State, throwing 7,433 yards and 59 touchdowns during his career with the Cougars. His best year came in 1997, when he totaled 3,968 yards through the air and 34 passing touchdowns, as well as six rushing scores.
That year, Washington State went on to play in the Rose Bowl and Leaf ended up being the No. 2 selection in the 1998 NFL Draft behind Peyton Manning.
Leaf has been working as a college football analyst for ESPN.
