Former Maryland quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome is on the move again.

According to Matt Zenitz of On3, Pigrome is in the transfer portal after spending one season at Ole Miss. He previously spent four seasons at Maryland and had a one-year stop at Western Kentucky, as well. If Pigrome does move on to another school, it will be the fourth of his college career.

The 2020 season was Pigrome’s most effective as a passer. With the Hilltoppers, the quarterback threw for 1,603 yards, 9 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions while completing better than 57% of his passes. He also rushed for 337 yards and 4 touchdowns that year.

Pigrome was a member of two Maryland teams that upset Texas (2016 and 2017) and nearly handed Ohio State a major upset loss in 2018. He was utilized in a more multi-quarterback situation while with the Terrapins.

At Maryland, Pigrome accounted for 1,777 yards and 9 touchdowns through the air and rushed for 680 yards and 8 scores. He spent one season with Mike Locksley before leaving the program.

Pigrome will be entering his seventh season at the college level in 2022.
