Hartage had been a member of the Giants’ practice squad before earning his opportunity to compete in the NFL. Back in Evanston Hartage saw action all four years of his college career, finishing with nine interceptions, good for fifth all-time with the Wildcats, and 172 total tackles.
During his four years at Northwestern, Hartage was a part of three nine-win seasons, including two with 10 wins. He was a member of the 2018 team that went on an eight-game B1G winning streak to capture the B1G West title before losing to Ohio State in Indianapolis.
Hartage also was an All-Big Ten Academic performer his senior season.
