Barrett has spent time with the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers either during the offseason or as a member of the practice squad. He has not yet made an NFL roster. He was undrafted in 2018 NFL Draft.
At Ohio State, Barrett was a three-time B1G Quarterback of the Year winner and was named the Offensive MVP in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl and 2017 Cotton Bowl. He also helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship in the 2014 season, the first year of the College Football Playoff.
