Former Ohio State standout defensive player Eli Apple is leaving New Orleans for Las Vegas.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Apple will be signing with the Las Vegas Raiders. The cornerback had been with the Saints since 2018, but apparently the two sides could not come to an agreement on a deal to keep him in New Orleans. Las Vegas will be his third team since arriving in the NFL.
Apple was initially drafted by the New York Giants in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was a first-round selection that year, going No. 10 overall.
