It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that DeMarco Murray was one of the best players in college football. According to a recent report, Murray will be back in college football, but in a different role.

According to Barry Horn, the former sports media columnist for The Dallas Morning News, Murray could be calling plenty of B1G games as he is set to become a broadcaster for FOX Sports. Without a formal announcement, it’s unclear which channels under the FOX umbrella will feature Murray in the booth. It’s also unknown at this time whether FOX would have him call B1G games or keep him limited to more familiar teams (Big 12 games) or smaller audiences (Conference USA).

Murray played at Oklahoma from 2007-10 and was one of the most recognized names in the sport during that time. He played in the NFL from 2011-2017, with the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans, and announced his retirement this offseason.
