Joe Burrow believes he did enough during the college football regular season to be named the top overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

On Tuesday, while meeting with the media, Burrow said he does not plan to throw or work out during the 2020 Scouting Combine. He’s still in Indianapolis, going through interviews, the medical examination and measurements.

Last year, quarterback Kyler Murray also decided not to throw at the NFL Combine. Burrow says he plans to wait until LSU’s Pro Day to get back on the field.

Burrow is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He rose into that position after a monster final season in Baton Rouge, throwing for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns while leading the Tigers to a national title.

A lot can change between the NFL Scouting Combine and Draft Day, but Burrow is currently the favorite to go No. 1 overall.
