It looks like Nebraska’s defense will get a boost in the coming days.
According to a report by Sam McKewon with the Omaha World-Herald, the Cornhuskers are getting ready to welcome incoming defensive lineman Jahkeem Green. According to the report, Green’s head coach from Highland Community College indicated his transcripts and academic records are in order. That leaves him scheduled to arrive at Nebraska over the weekend.
Green is a JUCO transfer and was listed as the No. 2 JUCO DT for 2019 by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He picked the Cornhuskers over a host of SEC offers that included Alabama, Georgia, and Tennesee.
At 6-foot-4 and 300 lbs., Green has the ideal size to add to the defensive front. He should be a nice addition once he is on campus and up to speed.
